Tunnel Hill Heritage Center

Bessie Smith Cultural Center

King Boulevard, the museum’s original goal was to present the many contributions African Americans made to the development of Chattanooga. International Towing & Recovery Museum

The Museum offers something for everyone. If you plan to visit set aside several hours to view the array of displays and exhibits showcasing the history of towing and recovery. On the outside grounds is the Wall of the Fallen memorial, dedicated to towers who died in the line of service. The Museum exhibits tow trucks and towing equipment dating back to 1916. The rotating collection includes early equipment built.

The Lost Sea Adventure

Your Lost Sea adventure begins with a guided tour of the caverns. This involves a ¾ mile round-trip walk on wide sloping pathways. While touring the caverns and underground lake our guides will tell of the cavern’s exciting and colorful history.
